Kathy, For the family where the child is attached the PP alert is correct. That child was born before those parents married. PP checking does not take any parent child relationships into account when checking for a problem. Only the dates for the child versus the marriage date for the parents.
This is one of those special cases where the ability to turn off the PP alert for this occurrence is designed.
