On the GEDCOM Export screen click on the “Customize” button on the right side of the screen. On the Items to Incude in GEDCOM for Legacy screen there is a section called Groups of items to EXCLUDE from Export check the box “Media Files” and any other stuff you don’t want in the GEDCOM file. When you have it the way you want and before clicking OK, you might want to Save List to save the settings so you can Load List the next time you want them. It will include the information about the picture, including the link, title and notes, etc. that you have, but the actual pictures will not be included. Note, as well, that [[double square brackets]] can be used to exclude information, other than the link (I haven’t figured out if there is a way to exclude that).
