Hello All,

I have resolved this issue. The User ID is stored in a field called UserRef in
the table tbIR. It was easy to create an update query to populate the User ID
field for all my records.

Sorry to have bothered anyone.

Hello,
I have just read the help file on Meaningful Picture Names. It mentions:

"To quickly assign User ID numbers to the thousands of individuals in my family
file, I created an Update Query in Microsoft Access."

I have quickly looked at the tables and it appears that i need to relate the
IDIR field in the tbIR table to the IDIR field in the tbBR table then calculate
the FilingRef field in the tbBR based on the Surname and IDIR fields from the
tbIR table.

I think the IDIR field contains the individual's RIN number and the FilingRef
contains the User ID string. Can anyone verify this for me and if possible
provide the SQL string for the Microsoft Access update query?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Dave
