That's what I said! Or what was meant! I develop and support the FreeREG transcription software, which is a .NET application, and part of it logs in to the FreeREG website. A recent problem with cookies found the solution to be in the IE cache not the cache of whatever browser the user was using. So, don't think I don't know what I'm talking about! The basic Internet engine on any Windows system is IE-based, regardless of whether you use the Microsoft browser or not. Consequently, when there are problems like those experienced by the original poster, it's useless to clear the used-browser cache. You have to get to the IE-cache via Internet Options and clear that. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg (g) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
