“and I had to download an update”
Tells me that your machine is NOT up to date and you need to look into getting updated monthly. Turns out that the Help could not be viewed with my version of Windows 7 and I had to download an update. All seems to be working now. That is did you allow the installation to install the program files and the other associated files to the Legacy defaults, i.e. to where it wanted to install rather than where you wanted it. The program should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Legacy8. In this folder you should find the file: Legacy.chm. If it is not there reinstall Legacy. This is for in 7 btw.) For some reason the Legacy Help Index appears to be missing. When I click Hekp Index on the ribbon this just leads me to Windows Help and Support. Likewise if I click on the help on any screen I have the same result. Any ideas?
