No. Legacy is a 32-bit application. You can install Legacy 8.0 side-by-side with Legacy 7.5 on your 32-bit laptop. This will let you compare 8.0 and 7.5 and allow you you to migrate to 8.0 gradually. When installing 8.0, take advantage of the default installation options. Assuming that the family file on the 64-bit system is the same as on the 32-bit system, open your 7.5 family file with 8.0. Legacy will offer to let you COPY the 7.5 file and migrate it to the format required by 8.0 -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg (g) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
