There is no Legacy Home button. There's a Legacy Home tab but no button. In earlier versions, there was a "Home" button on the far left of the toolbar which took you to the Preferred Startup Family. A lot of people were confused with the Legacy Home tab and the Home button when we'd give instructions so Ken changed that button to the Startup Family on the "My Toolbar" in v8.
It wouldn't go on the File ribbon since it has nothing to do with Files but has to do with going to the Preferred Startup Family set in Options > Customize 1.3 (You can also set the Startup Family by clicking on the icon on the Options ribbon) Sincerely, Sherry Technical Support Legacy Family Tree On Tue, Mar 4, 2014 at 1:40 PM, J.M.
