I've been in and out of the Chronology all day starting with different people and the report is always fine.
I don't know what can be going on with your file You could try reinstalling Legacy and if that doesn't help, you probably should contact Support. I have sometimes seen a delay when switching files. The data from the old file can hang around a couple of seconds and sometimes a delay when going to another tab. The other question would be what do you have running in the background? Could that be slowing Legacy? When was the last time you restarted your computer?
