Michele,  I have been "away" from the group for a few months, but does Legacy 
now allow you to view/open PDF files within the app?

Ed, I was going to suggest you copy/paste the text of the story into the Notes 
of an EVENT, rather than the General Notes.  If the story is in a separate 
file, it won't show up in any of your reports.  (as I understand report 
generation in Legacy)  So, it depends on how you want to use the story in the 
future.

Ed,
This is just personal preference but if it is lengthy, I would save it as a pdf 
and attach it your grandfather instead of copying and pasting it into the 
General Notes field.
