The potential problem is simply to alert you that there may be an issue
that you might want to check further.  You do have the ability to tell the
program that the pp is not really a problem and you don't want to be
alerted again.  How does that qualify as a bells and whistle that the
program/programmers "did NOT think about their usage in the real world".
 Seems to me they did think about it and gave you a way to bypass the alert.
