Maybe we had different starting points? My installation was an upgrade to 7.5 that was in C:\Program Files\Legacy\ folder. So maybe my installation of 7 was not a default, and 8 used the same path structure?
In any case, the important thing is renaming LegacyX.lic does toggle between Standard and Deluxe on versions 7x and 8x. Solves my problem.
