In that case, I would go to the Locations Master List (View > Master
Lists > Location...) and sort right-to-left (Sort > Direction of Sort >
Right to Left) so that all locations within one country were listed
together, then all within one
county/state/whatever-it-is-for-each-country, and so on down the line.

Now, all locations including Dissen in Germany should be grouped
together, whether that is a village, town or county/state/whatever -
this works regardless of what level your particular place is.

Make sure the "Show People" option is ticked in the Master Location List
window.

Scroll, search or otherwise move down the list of locations to get to
where Dissen makes an appearance. Select a location that is in Dissen
and you should see a list of who is using that location. If there is
more than one location in the list using Dissen, select each in turn and
look at the list of people using that location.

If you have your ancestral line bolded, your ancesters will be shown in
bold in the list so you can spot them easily amongst all the other
people in your database.

Hope this helps. :-)
