if it's working in v7.5, it should be working in v8. However, there were many design changes between the two versions. Apparently not showing the name and RIN of the individual was one of those. It's not considered a "bug".
Since the Assigned Sources List is accessed from a person you're working in, the name and RIN should be pretty obvious. If you can't remember who you're working it, it's easy to slide the window down a bit to see the name in the underlying view......
