Added a new "stand alone" person, Mary Mitton, and a marriage record event for her, saved the event to the clipboard, accidentally clicked "close"?, Legacy asked if I wanted to cancel? the close?, clicked the cancel, and all disappeared.
Can not repeat it... and the clipboard is empty.
