Dave,  Try this:  1. Unlink your wife from her parents2. Select yourself as the 
focus person3. Go to Advanced Tagging, select a Tag # and Untag that from 
everyone4. Select Tag "Entire Family Line"5. Review Name List to ensure that 
the correct people are tagged6. Create a new Legacy family file or GEDCOM from 
the tagged list7. Re-link your wife to her parents
