Jay,

I did a restore. Paul solved the problem saying to check the way the
dates were set. When I loaded the file onto the new computer [nothing like
waiting until the last minute] the date setting in the program was for month,
day, year. I entered everything as day, month, year. Once I changed the
setting the dates reappeared.

Marie,

Did you make backup (.zip) copies of your data and media and copy them to
the second computer and restore them? Or how did you move your files?

I have had to upgrade my computers to Win 7 pro [I've been an XP user].Â
I'm still using Legacy 7.5 (Deluxe) and have all the upgrades. When I moved
my Legacy files to my new DELL desktop almost all the dates are gone.
Â
I used restore but find that some of the people have years but no dates
and months. I hoping it's just a case of not clicking the right button. They
are on the laptop but did not transfer to the desktop.
Â
Any ides why?
