I don't recall ever hearing about this problem in Legacy Charting 8 before. I 
have a few questions, the answers which might lead to a solution.

. Where is Legacy 8 installed on your computer?
. Where is your family file saved on your computer?
. Do you save your family file in a 'cloud' application like SkyDrive, Goodle 
Drive, Dropbox, Sugar Sync, etc.?
. Do you login to your computer with full administrative permissions or with a 
user account that has limited permissions?
