Hi Flora,

When you are doing the import, note there is a Customise button. Click this and 
you get several options for importing note fields depending on how the note is 
in the gedcom. You might want to look at the gedcom in a text editor to see how 
the lines are broken - or just experiment with each option.

There are 3 options:
Let Legacy decide
Lines are broken in the middle of words
Lines are broken between words

Clicking the Help button from that screen gives further information.
