On the Event Edit screen I cannot confirm this. I see He or the person's first name for males and She or her first name for females.
There are two screens, editing event sentences for both events and roles for events where the preview is NOT based on your person. There is a selection box there where you can select a preview for a male, preview for a couple and preview for a female. If you are seeing the problem in reports we need to know exactly which report(s) have the problem.
