Every now and then, I'll click SAVE -- person screen, source screen, marriage screen, wherever -- and get this cute little MS message saying essentially, Ooopsie, that was a bad thing, I'm shutting down, and the program closes. Other times, same scenario, except the message is that the program is not responding, and it's shutting down.
Still other times, there is a visible delay closing the edit screen (same places), and the occasion blink where the screen refreshes itself. The *only* correlation I've noted is the number of people I've called up between Open file and G'bye. Since lately I've been tagging every name that appeared in a specific book, that goes fairly fast, and when you get 13 children, some of whom have children listed in the wrong place, yeah, I probably CAN open, tag, save 50 or 60 names in under an hour. I'm /assuming/ that's the root cause. If some Legacy staffer knows differently, I'd appreciate a shout? Running WIN7 32-bit dual-processor with gobs of free space and Legacy 8.0.0.385. And, yes, if I close Legacy and reopen it, even 10 seconds later, what I was wanting saved was.
