Priscilla,

On the main toolbar go to VIEW > SPLIT SCREEN. You will get a message asking
you if you want to open a different family file in the new window, put Yes and
then pick the second file.

To learn more about the split screen option, go to HELP > HELP INDEX and then
type in SPLIT SCREEN.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Two family trees open at once

Is there a way to have two Legacy family trees open at once on my computer? I
have a number of family trees and would like to have two open at once -- side
by side -- on my screen. I realize that having more than one tree is not what
many of you do, but that's the way it is here -- at this point, anyway -- and
has been working well. I was able to do that with my previous software, but
cannot figure out yet with Legacy.

                   Thanks,

                         Priscilla
