Hi Flora,

Where is your Legacy 7.5 installed?
Yesterday it looked as if you had it installed in Program Files. Legacy
7.5 should not be installed in Program Files as it writes to its program
folder continually and recent versions of Windows don't allow that.
That's why the default installation path for Legacy 7.5 and earlier is
C:\Legacy

With the changing the sex of a person. You can't do this with the radio
buttons if the person has a partner or child. You need to use the Edit -
Swap husband and wife.
You can't change the living status if there is anything at all in the
Death or Burial fields.

There is no problem with having Legacy 7.5 and Legacy 8 on the same
computer. They just can't read the same files as the database structure
has changed with Legacy 8.
