Thanks for the flurry of responses. I already own Dragon 12 Premium ... but disappointingly, Legacy is not directly supported by it -- seems like I basically have to build a series of custom commands. I haven't experimented enough to know how involved this would be, but what time I've spent with the application thus far (on Word or Outlook) shows it responds well and accurately.
I was hoping that I could dictate the entry of new data into the Legacy database -- add a child, dictate their name, birth date, etc., flip to Research Notes, dictate some content, move to the next record ... I spoke with Nuance who assured me Dragon could be used with Legacy, and clearly the upcoming webinar proves it can be as well. I was hoping someone was already using it and could walk me through a mini tutorial on how to set it up -- the learning curve out of the box is a little high. Ah well, I'll just have to invest more time -- or wait until December!
