.fdb for the databases
I think there might be information on the pertinent file extensions somewhere
in Help in the app.

Subject: [LegacyUG] recovering from deleted files

I use Legacy Family Tree 7.5 in XP, over 400 records.

I inadvertently deleted all my data files in my hard disk, as well as my backup
files, including my family tree's data files.

Using a software package called Glary utilities, I was able to restore
thousands of files, probably including Legacy's files, but they seem to
be in no particular order and not in the original subdirectory order.

How do I find the legacy data files among the thousands of restored files? Do
they have a particular characteristic or extension that I can use to locate
them on the long list of recovered files?

The family tree software comes up fine but it doesn't bring up my family
tree since it is not set up to look at the recovered list.

Thank you
