Hi, Cathy,
Still having the problem and I've done all those things. The guy I'm trying
to print out the desc narr rep for only has one son and he has both a birth
and death date (dmy).

i tried doing a descendant *chart *and when I tell it to exclude Living, I
only get the one ancestor (otherwise, if I include everybody, it's 80 pp
long, just for a chart.) In other words same problem as with the desc narr
rep.
On the other hand, If i tell it to exclude details for living, it prints
the name but no pictures, dates etc. -- in other words, does just what it's
supposed to do.

Since writing the previous paragraph, I've also done the "Tool - Advanced
Set Living" and this time when I excluded the living it *did *exclude my
aunt's (and others') living descendants but it still included me!

So there are still problems!

I really appreciate your help!

Pat
