I reported this same error a few weeks ago for one of my two files. The smaller file was just fine. They checked my file and told fewer than 10 others had encountered the same thing with Legacy 8. I got a message last week that the problem has been fixed and would be included in the next update for Legacy, whenever that will be. I still do the compacting and other things but will wait for an update for check/repair.
