Hi Gene, Early registers often don't have page numbers. It's still a better source than the index. Just include the details that you have. What do you mean it doesn't have location? You've called it the Sibsey Register You can check the Archive that keeps the Registers for the particulars of the register the page comes from. The only thing you need to think about is whether it is from the Parish Register or the Bishop's Transcript.
For the index, I'd use the online database template - but with access to the register, I wouldn't use the index at all. I only enter the index if it's the only information I have at the time. If I then get to see a copy of the register, I leave the index source and untick the "include this citation on reports" Then I can still retrace my steps. I used to remove the index source and add a comment to the register source that I first saw the information in the index. I don't publish both sources as the source list is long enough as it is.
