With Censuses I actually always use Ancestry, except for the England & Wales 1911 which became available on FMP before Ancestry got it, so my Sources reflect the relevant website Actually, sometimes if I find it difficult to locate a record on Ancestry I look for it on FMP and if I find it there I then do a search on Ancestry again, using the Census reference. so that I know the image is actually there and my Source Citation won't be misleading! I don't really think my Sources "give prominence" to the websites, just indicate that that's where I found the image. I always give sufficient details (full Census reference or name & location of Church with page and entry numbers, etc) that people should be able to find the same record anywhere that it's available. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
