Hi Margaret,
When I save either a document, photo or a pdf, I rarely save it where the
computer would automatically save it. I choose a file -- "documents" sounds
like a good place for what you are saving or you could try a thumb drive that
you have connected. If you have a lot of pdfs for a particular family, make a
new folder in "documents" or on the thumb drive with the family name. Or maybe
you would rather make a file or folder there with the name "Legacy" and then
another file or folder within "Legacy" with the family name. That way you
could have several folders there with different family names with multiple
documents in them.
Perhaps you are wondering how to get to "documents". In my computer
there is an arrow pointing up next to the location that is originally offered.
Continue to go up until you find "This PC" which, at least in my computer, lists
desktop
documents
downloads
music
pictures
videos
and any thumb drive that you might have connected.
Note where it is that you file the pdf and then when you want to add it
to your e-mail, you will be able to go right to "documents" or the thumb drive
or wherever you have saved it.
I hate it when I cannot find something!!
Priscilla
