Does it really reload from the beginning or does it hesitate then keep
going?

A hesitation may be a download speed problem. If your download speed is
not enough to keep some spare space in the playback queue the player
will pause while the some spare space rebuilds. To see the download and
playback state hover your mouse on the screen. The current location
versus the total download status will show at the bottom of the
playback. On my computer this is a White vertical line and a two tone
grey bar beside the pause button. If the White line is always on the
edge of the current downloaded data you may want to pause the playback
until a significant part of the progress bar has turned dark.
