Dave, are you having the same problem that Richard is having? If so, I fully understand why Sherry’s response is so important to you. Believe it or not, there are some solutions to issues/problems that are better handled off list between tech support and the person(s) having a specific problem. Sometimes a problem is more involved and doesn’t really need to be handled/discussed on the list.
You say that “replied off list” doesn’t help your knowledge. I’m sure that Sherry didn’t provide Richard with any secrets that are being withheld from everyone else.
