Hi Cheryl,
I'm not sure how you are going to give a copy to a "family" when both
partners are dead as under your description, their married children get
a copy anyway and it's unlikely that they all have unmarried adult
children to receive their copy, but here's how to get what you want.

Clear a tag (x)
Then tag on that number the descendants of the couple in question. (NOT
entire descendant line)
In Detailed Search
Individual        Tag x       Equal to      Tagged
AND
Marriage        MRIN      Not equal to     [leave blank]

The number of marriages is roughly half the number in the search list as
the tagged list includes the spouses.
I say roughly as this list will include those descendants who had
children with an unknown partner as they have an MRIN
