Hi Pat, That number that you can't remember is a vital piece of information! Next time it happens, please write it down and if you need our help post to the list and tell us what it is.
The various error numbers can be found at http://support.legacyfamilytree.com/(Legacyfamilytree.com > Help Center > Troubleshooting Help gets you to the same place) under "Error Messages & Problems". Meanwhile, it might be that a Check/Repair will solve your problem. Run a backup first, of course.
