Barbara,
You can put privacy brackets in the date field and they work just fine.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Privatizing dates

Is it ok to use the private brackets [[ ]] in the date field? I am coming into
Legacy from TMG where we have sort dates. Placing a date in the private
brackets [[1950]] appears to be somewhat of a work around. Willit get me into
trouble later on in Legacy?

Barbara
