Events should stay in the order you have placed them unless you have
clicked the Options button and resorted them or used the global
resorting tool.

If you have option 2.2 on inserting events in date order when Adding an
event turned ON a new dated event will be sorted by date but existing
events were not resorted in the tests I just did.
