Hi David I haven't had any issues...usually. If there's a problem all I do is copy the file to another directory which usually removes the encryption (yes, I use Dropbox for my Legacy backup files). I transfer files between my desktop, a laptop (recently replaced with no issues), a tablet, and my cell phone. But, as I said, this is with Dropbox. I don't know how well it would work with IDrive...
