recently upgraded from Ver 7.5 to Ver 8 for the family file which hasn't been used since 2003, apart from occasional updates. I now find the the Living indicators and the M, F, ? are grayed out for for practically all persons and can't be accessed. Most living people show a dot but the M and F is unselectable, being grayed out. Operating Vista on this desktop, and struggling to remember all of Legacy's little intricacies when every page is peppered with red exclamation marks!
It is very comforting to see some familiar names answering questions after 10 years, perhaps I will knock down some brick walls this time, and find a passenger list.
