Hi Charles, I assume you have downloaded pdf versions of these books. Double clicking on the download file will open them in your default PDF reader. You probably need to check your file associations.
If that's not something you are used to doing, then open Adobe Reader and if it asks whether to make it the default reader, say Yes. From within Adobe Reader you can use the File - Open to open any pdf file on your computer.
