When it comes to SourceWriter templates, I don't get *too* hung up on titles and field names. I sometimes use a template whose name does not quite match my use and I often use fields for items not described by the field name, or I don't use some fields at all. The member-submitted trees on Ancestry are a good case in point. I use the Family Group Sheet>online images template. I create a new Master Source for each Tree. In the Master Source I use the fields Compiler Last Name (username of submitter), Title (title of the tree), Format (Family Tree), Website Title (Ancestry) and URL (http://trees.ancestry.co.uk). In the Source Detail I put "Public Member Trees" as the Collection or Database. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
