Would it be possible to put the info this way:

1823-1875  Shoemaker, cordwainer, labourer, cow keeper, rag dealer, greengrocer

This would give all the info but not be specific to what years he held these 
jobs.  At least all the info would be listed.  Or is the field limited to fewer 
spaces?
