My guess is that you have entered info on the Text/Comments tab of the Source Citation Detail and maybe inadvertently checked the box which says Add this Text or Comments to the Source Citation on Reports.

Can you tell me why item number 2 appears in it's entirety? I don't seem to be able to get it reduce to just the short form of the citation. This same note (again in it's entirety) appears on all Source Citation Reports for other members of this family.
