Cynthia,
The very first thing you need to do is close Legacy and reboot your computer.
Now open Legacy and do a check/repair. Select File > File Maintenance > Check
Repair. Click Proceed. If an error is found select No so that the
check/repair will continue. If there are errors found, run the check repair
again until there are no errors. If there are any errors that Legacy can't
clear automatically, look at the log file that is generated and it will give
you the information you need to clear the errors manually.

I have been busy updating my own information in the Events tab under various
headings, Addresses, Education, Travel, etc.

Now I can get to my page, but Events will not open and the program gives me
"Not responding" message.

Yes, I am able to open Events in other individuals, but not in my own page.

How do I get in to combine and delete some of the listings?

I am not having any other problems. If you give me directions, please give them
to me in baby steps.
