Ancestry's test is an autosomal DNA test and you can't input this type of DNA
test into Legacy. Why? Autosomal DNA tests are not reported with values
assigned to fields like yDNA and mitochondrial DNA are. If you were to
download your raw data you would have a text file approx. 6 MB in size (that is
A LOT of text).

You could attach the raw DNA text file to your media gallery but honestly, your
raw data isn't very helpful. The reason the raw data is available is so that
you can upload to GedMatch and you can transfer your results to FTDNA (the only
company that accepts transfers at this time).

Subject: [LegacyUG] Ancestry DNA raw data

All,

I was wondering if I could get some help on linking my DNA test results from
Ancestry.com.
I got the test when it was down to $79 and sent it in. I now want to link it to
myself in Legacy.
Of the available tests that are shown, none seem to match my results.
Here is a sample of what I am seeing:
rsid.......chromosome...position..allele1..allele2
rs4477212.....1..........82154......T........T
rs3131972.....1..........752721.....A........G

Which test should I use and how should I input this?
Thanks
