To add more information to the problem/or confuse it even more: # 171 Angnietjen Bogert married Jan Durie (#170) and there is descent in 2 lines from this marriage. Jan Durie & Angnietjen had 12 children altogether and 2 of their daughters are ancestors as well. I mention this because Angnietjen is a 5th great-grandmother of my uncle and one of her daughters is a 4th great-grandmother and one is also a 5th great-grandmother. So my theory that perhaps this is a generational issue does not appear to be the case.
