When you "Click to add a child" and you are adding a new person you will be asked whether to add a Son, Daughter or Child of unknown sex. If you are linking to a person already in your database and the person is listed as the wrong sex you can change from M or F to ? on their Individual's Information screen. You cannot change the sex on the Individual's Information screen if the person is already one of a couple. In that case you would need to unlink the couple from each other. (I realise this is probably not relevant to your particular query, but add it for clarity of my preceding paragraph.) -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://support.legacyfamilytree.com Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
