C N You are actually seeing the word Private in the name field??? It sounds like you have imported a gedcom where the person that created the gedcom had people marked as private. You can't get that information. When someone is marked private and you create a gedcom that information simply is not exported. You need to contact the person that created the gedcom and have them create a new one with those persons not marked as private (if they are willing).
