Thanks Cathy, I have forgotten a number of the changes that have been made, so 
I’m relearning much of it. I guess I will make more errors during this process.

That only happens if you don't check the "Don't sort children/spouses/events if 
there is one or more blank dates"

Note that new additions can be kept in date order depending on your preferences 
at Options - Customise 2.2
