Unless you have only one picture linked there is no single media file,
each picture etc. is an individual file. I suspect you are confusing the
single backup file for your media which Legacy creates with your media
files.

To reconnect your media you will need to extract all the media files
from the media backup file to your hard drive then Legacy will find the
original files using the media relinker. Right click on the media backup
file (it will look like a folder in Windows). From the menu select extract.
