Pat - I used a program 'FreeFileSync' (http://www.freefilesync.org/) to get files copied from one computer to another. This free program will make sure the files are all copied and you can use the program to make sure that both computers are exactly the same before closing out the old computer. You can even use it to copy files to an external drive.
