Two separate problems. Firstly, the fact that your remote resources 'disappear' is a Windows thing, and there's little you can do about that. A similar thing happens to me between using shared drives a desktop machine and a laptop. Secondly, the fact that Legacy 'forgets' a networked resource if it isn't available looks like a bug. However, in defence of the program, I doubt it was ever designed with networked files in mind in the first place. So, report a bug using the website accessed from the Legacy Home tab - bottom right-hand corner - Report a Problem. -- Regards, Mike Fry (Jhb) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://support.legacyfamilytree.com Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
